On Sunday, November 17, 2024, the Regnum Christi family gathered for a beautiful celebration of RC Day at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel at Pinecrest Academy in Cumming, GA. This annual event serves as a joyful recognition of the Regnum Christi movement—locally, nationally, and internationally—and a heartfelt moment to honor Christ the King with our spiritual family. Beginning at 10 AM, the day was filled with faith, inspiration, and community spirit.
The day’s Mass was a highlight, featuring moving testimonies from MaryBeth Dawson and Pedro Freda, setting the tone for the spiritual celebration. Anthony Birozes and Elijah Kehn enriched the liturgy with their readings, Genesis Torrens led the Prayers of the Faithful, and Jacquie Lustig CRC’s rendition of the Psalm added a beautiful touch. The St. John Bosco High School Choir, led by Sofia Rueda, filled the chapel with their uplifting voices, enhancing the solemn yet celebratory atmosphere. Fr. John Bender, LC delivered a powerful homily on the theme “We are TEAM RC!”, inspiring all present to embrace unity and purpose in Christ.
This year’s RC Day welcomed 33 new associations into the Regnum Christi family, including 6 women, 15 men, 3 young men, 2 young women, and 7 ECYD youth. A remarkable total of 263 attendees—both children and adults—gathered to share in the celebration. Lunch, catered by Panera Bread, was a seamless and delightful experience for all. Guests enjoyed fellowship and camaraderie, with young adults stepping outside to enjoy the crisp fall weather for a spirited game of Cabbage Ball.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the RC Day 2024 committee and the many dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a memorable success. From the thoughtful planning to the flawless execution, RC Day 2024 was a testament to the love and devotion that defines the Regnum Christi movement.
We are truly blessed to share this journey of faith together—Go TEAM RC!
