YOUTH IN ATLANTA
Youth activities, camps, and retreats are scheduled throughout the year and held at various locations in North Georgia. All of these events are open to Catholic youth of all ages.
Our youth work is guided by the tenets of ECYD, which provide youth with different experiences of encounter, through which they can acquire firm convictions and learn to make free and responsible decisions in accordance with Gospel criteria.
WHAT IS ECyD?
ECYD is an international Catholic association of adolescents who make a pledge of friendship with Christ and with each other to build up a new world according to the Gospel. ECYD are adolescents who live the charism of the Regnum Christi movement.
The name “ECYD” is an acronym that represents “encounters, convictions, your decisions”, and is used as such globally, independent of a country’s language. The name denotes the dynamic of ECYD’s life: through different experiences of encounter, adolescents acquire firm life convictions and learn to make free and responsible decisions according to Gospel criteria.

- Prayer and Sacrament
- Formation
- Team Life
- Accompaniment
- Apostolate
Each of these seek to be different experiences of encounter, through which the adolescent forms his convictions and decisions according to the spirituality of Regnum Christi.
